...but hey, it's not all bad news, right?

According to the New York Times, not everything is so dire--especially for the top earners in our country.
...many American corporations did well last year. Profits were up substantially. As a result, many companies are sharing the wealth, at least with their executives.
At the other end of the morality spectrum is Sen. Bernie Sanders, increasingly the conscience of the US Congress. He believes that closing tax breaks for the already-wealthy isn't a tax hike, as the right would have us believe, and that shared sacrifice is required if we're to get out of the morass that is the US economy.


"Shared Sacrifice." The right thing to do. Go to Bernie's site and sign the letter to the president.
